"KE5WDP And if what I wear in my truck bothers you, that's your problem"

" THE FOLLOWING IS A GENERALIZED RESPONSE

The majority of opions posted pertaining to DRESS CODE are not what they WEAR in their TRUCK its to do with their APPEARANCE out in PUBLIC.

Its that tattered appearance that generalizes truckers as looking like HOMELESS people with driving privledges:biggrin_2559:

I don't care what that person wearing when he is driving that truck. But if I see someone dress like a slob while at a customer or inside a truck stop, I shake my head.

That's right, and if you quoted my entire post, you would have read that.

Yepper to a pointe. But the operative word is "public". Just think what the 4wheeler sees when he goes around that person. I'd call that being in public.
    OMG, I don't think I can bear the picture I painted, but it wasn't a dream, I saw it.:biggrin_25513:

If he read your posting and realized THEY and THEIR was not YOU and YOUR he would have realized it was not directed at him.

There are SLOBS in any facit of life , some have no choice but major % are just lazy.

Love to hear " I AM NOT PAYING FOR NO DARN SHOWER " but then see them drop $20 trying to win a $3 bear in the CLAW machine.

KE5WDP, scottied67 and johnday Thank this.

When you show up at a customer I think we should be presentable, but I consider TSs our home away from home and if you want to dress down, I could care less...Not showering is another story, that's just plain disgusting to go days without one, you always have to have personal pride in yourself...

Just a piece of advice--if the truck stop has a bear claw machine--and you have a kid with you(or grandkid in my situation)--use a different entrance!!--or not only will you not be able to afford a shower--supper might be in Jeopardy as well!! Ok I'm a softie--LMAO:biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:

Something I've noticed is when people dress more professionally, they act more professeionally. When they dress casual, they act casual. When they dress like a slob, they act like a slob.

    Just my observation.
