Reference of the year thus far! May be the first time this one has ever been used in a trucking forum!:biggrin_25514:

Excellent. I've seen (and heard) more than one veteran driver say that, basically, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" when it comes to poor etiquette and courtesy. Yeah...that's a good idea.....

I have been called a super trucker by some, but get this; I average almost 12000 per month, nearly $1300 per week, never rolled a truck, no accidents, never run off the road in snow/ice/wind. You have to know when to slow down and do it. You, as the driver, know your limits and when somebody else either passes you or is going slower than you; they are not harming you. There is no need for name calling. I have not read through this thread, probably good; but I have heard the truck stop conversations and agree with some on both sides. If this must be discussed, anywhere; let's all approach the conversation as adults.

FWIW- I have been driving off and on since 2002, driving school in 2001 and have nearly 1 million accident free miles. Nothing unique about that, but it does give me a little room to talk.

Only 41 pages? Little disappointed actually...

"what the hell, I'm going to go drive a truck" Haha, that cracked me up.
