DON'T GET CAUGHT doing it. Several States have passed laws making the STEALING of WiFi a CRIMINAL Offense, even if it is offered "free".

bafinpa said: ↑thank you zaroc for the encouragement, I'm doing the best I can do. Right now I'm coming from Dallas, tx to west memphis, Ar. My trainer is driving and I have been connected for a while, reception is excellent. so far sprint is working nice for me. Just keep in mind that if you sign up with them you have to pay a one time activation fee, also they charge you the first month in advance. As usual the sale guy didn't tell me any of this.

Almost all of the hotels advertise "Free WiFi". I've yet to see a sign that says "Free WiFi for paying guests."
I've actually considered going in for the free continental breakfast. -

Stealing Wifi is Stealing.. say the Boys in Blue
A quick Google search (provided you aren't stealing WiFi) would have produced similar results. I guess you can do what you want, just don't BMW when you have to pay the piper.Last edited: Aug 21, 2008

How do you like the card. Right now I connect to my razr for a modem. Speeds are OK. I usually get downstream in the 300kbps, sometimes as high as 700kbps. Upstream can be slow. Its only $40.00 per month unlimited data. It seems to work pretty well. Did you notice a big difference with the card?
Thanks -
I have been told that you can get a USB plug in device and pay a monthly fee for internet service.
Is that true or did a fellow trucker tell me a lie (I know that don't happen much... lol) -
You just posted on two threads that mentioned exactly what you asked about...
It'd be true.
