    I keep two phones to stay connected.
    Iphone 4- at&t
    Iphone 4s- sprint

    Usually att works everywhere but suprisingly there were places in PA (rural areas) where only my sprint phone worked.

    I'm using a Droid Bionic and have to say its a very nice phone. If you do go that route though may I suggest an Otterbox phone case?

    I agree with moosc. Get on the Verizon network if you have it in your area. I have yet to find an area where my phone doesn't work... except the usual places like in tunnels or on the leeward side of the Rockies.
