It’s a 5k BTU unit. Just drains into the boot box. I drilled a 1/4 in hole in the floor but dosent leak much if at all.
Worked better than the stand up 15k btu unit I had in there the 5 years prior.

Should say that I have updated this instal to include baffles and a 8” spall fan. I’ll update with pictures later. -
Far easier and less hassle to just idle the truck for the AC. Even the best of APUs (ThermoKing Tripacs) don't have the capacity to exchange as much heat as the primary HVAC condenser.

Here is the updated picture. I have an rv door latch that holds the door vertical. I have a switch in the bunk for the fan. Only needs the fan if it’s really hot out.
I can and do idle the truck when it’s at the extremes. But my set up is super quiet and 0 vibrations. I really don’t like laying in a idleing truck.Elroythekid, Dgr, God prefers Diesels and 1 other person Thank this.
