I don't understand why you are so confuse about 300$ yearly fee?
I both in 2018 15272 gallons of fuel. If I compared NASTC and TransConnect Services Fuel Card System (Looks like they don't have members and others fees). TransConnect prices was about 2 cent higher than NASTC so NASTC with 300$ fee is cheaper for me.

What type of credit card are you using? What type of rewards come with it? My business credit card offers "cash back" which would add up tremendously purchasing fuel on it...

Visa from my local bank. You being with Mercer, their discounts using their card should far out weigh ant credit card offers.

    JonJon78 Thanks this.

Yes, I know that. I was just curious though. If I ever leave Mercer it will be to run my own numbers, thinking ahead :)

Fleet one tried to auto withdraw $300 one day and transaction was refused due to low funds(factoring was running 2 days late unfortunately). Week later they withdrew $2000 normally. Third week all our cards and account were suddenly with out warning blocked! Trucks could not get any fuel and we could not see any fuel purchases and reports to prepare statements. After waiting 2 hours on hold since we didnt even know what was going on they asked us to wire them the money and wait untill it clears for 3 days, to use western union or to request them to re run the auto pay and wait 10 days to for them to unblock us! We were also informed that we lost the line of credit that we had :/
Their service became useless to us. Not to mention that there were no fuel discounts at all at FJ, Pilot, Loves, Petro in 2 months.
I truly believe that they were supposed to make our life and work easier and provide a good service. Stuff happens and why create a problem where there is no need for one? $50 Fee they charge should be enough. My advice to all is to not rely on fuel cards and to avoid fleet one, or learn on our experience. We will be closing the account. We cant do business this way.

Just disappointed. We have 5 trucks. Lucky for us all good guys and we will manage a week untill we get something else. If we had more trucks it would have been far worse
