Well I've hauled alot of reefer loads and I seem to remember when I picked up the loads the temps were CLEARLY marked on the B.O.L.'s and there was also this nice little LIABILITY clause where you sign YOUR name on it saying as the trucking companies representative you take and will be held responsible for any and all damages to said cargo. Try hauling cucumbers out of Florida to the pickle plants...if you dump your load....guess what it was like $200 a pallet that the DRIVER WAS CHARGED cause guess what YOU damaged it.
Pay attention to what you sign and read the both the large and small print.
I would guess that the trucking companies insurance company doesn't want to pay for the damages because it was CLEARLY driver fault. Just sayin
The Company is asking the driver to pay for damaged load

Cool deal! You've got it together pretty good for your age. I know too many your age that do not have it that together. At least my boys have it together too. My oldest is almost 23! He's about to make me a mother-in-law too.
