Can you post a pic of you're logging device with your HOS visible? I'm not familiar with drivertech.
The day about to recap, drive time in violation?

So, I don't burn up my 70.
I was hoping this might be an issue that was familiar but sounds like maybe not -
Im truly trying to help you figure this out.Jdm5jdm5 Thanks this. -
Do you work for an outfit out of Illinois? Maybe your safety people are jacking with your hours. Can you not slow your roll to get a restart?
Jdm5jdm5 Thanks this. -
@Jdm5jdm5 I assume you have some hours or minutes when you stop for a 10. You say you are getting a solid 10 hour break. But are you waiting for midnight minus the time available today, before your recap kicks in, before you log pretrip? If you get your 10, that's good. The problem is you might be starting your pretrip and start driving and run out of your available 70 well before midnight. If that's the case you are in violation. You have to either wait until your available 70 gets you to midnight so you can continue driving, or you must stop before your 70 clock winds down and wait until midnight for your recap hours come back.

Also how long have you been driving? A 10 hour break doesn't mean jack if you don't have hours to run. If you are running over your hours and if somehow it doesn't warn you. It will still add those hours. That would probably be the reason you never have hours.

Here's is 2/18

Here is 2/16 where the drive time is in violation. When I put myself in sleeper berth last night there was no "red" and when I woke up there was "red". This doesn't happen all the time, only every now and then and just curious what I'm doing wrong?
