I've been here over 9 years, and I've easily made my raise every year, but I am on the Crete side, not Shaffer. That may make a difference. I was over 130, 000 miles last year.

 

You live in Iowa, that could be the reason why. Try living in PA and getting that. They used to get me back for hometime a week early and bump me from NJ to PA to NY. Two crappy paychecks back to back makes for a very unhappy wife. Nuff said.

Seriously how often do you folks get home trying to run 11,000 miles a month?

 

Every 3-4 weeks for 3 or 4 days, in January I ran over 11k and took 5 days off

130.000 = 44 miles a day.

 

Uh, no. It's 356 miles a day if you never take a day off. Let's figure 50 off days in a year? (being charitable toward the company) = 316 work days. 130,000/316 = 411 miles per day. For trucks that slow it's a ton of drop and hook work. I say he did well.
