Heat.. doesnt have to be flame.. industrial heat guns are pretty cheap.. then stab the person who applied them this way. Always duct tape them if there is no holder..

I once made the mistake of putting one of those in a slide-in holder. That didn't work very well.

Even though all my placards were stickers I never removed the backing I always used duct tape.But many times there were some placards the other drivers didn't remove they would just drop the trailer then I got stuck removing the old placards.misterG Thanks this.

Those are supposed to come off as soon as the freight does.
The Fire Marshals of most municipalities take something of a dim view on empty trailers having flammable placards showing.misterG Thanks this. -
Try telling that to the idiots who are too lazy to remove them.
