Good question, how they do? And the true is that somebody is taking
Good question, and the sad part is that people is working for such prices at least out of Texas, $1.50 a mile, otherwise you don't see them posted in DAT loadboard, that's why I was asking for how many of this mf goes bankrupt every year, after working for a while at such rates they go bankrupt or have to go under the radar to keep head above water. The sad part is that because they take such loads, brokers think that you are going to take it too, they are making a mistake, and anybody reading this should not take any load out of TX for at least $2.00 a mile, that's the minimum price you can do nowadays w/o losing money if you do legal, btw, diesel at big truck stops in TX is gone to $3.40, mom and pops begin by $3.19. I'd fuel yesterday in a WA FJ at $3.79. CA and PA should be around $4.00 by now.

Trucking industry is saturated with lease drivers pulling freight at 1.37mi. I pulled a medical load from a sister company of Forward Air they paid me 5.25mi on 700 mi. Imagine what that lease op would of made at Forward Air. Lease ops ,1099 ,and H2B visa drivers drive down rates and big corps love the profits from it

They are trying to go lower still with prices this week, and fuel going up, good combination.
The only good part of this, is that after a while of having this rates, some people will go bankrupt or will quit and them it will be more loads for the rest of us, it's a shame that it have to be this way, but this is the way capitalism work, offert and demand, some people have to go down for others to go up.
