Keep your eyes open for opportunities and read, read, read the forum. You'll be surprised at what you can find out here.

This industry chews drivers up & spits them out like an assembly line.

I have never experienced such abject loneliness as I did when I left for my first cross country OTR trip going on 10 years ago.

If you can get past the first year, you'll have more options at your disposal.

.28 cpm is pretty low even for a new driver these days. We start at .38 for instance, then bump up to 54 after the first year. As I said, look around.

Well stocked shelves are just one indicator of a mythical driver shortage. Lousy driver pay, benefits, and working conditions are proof. If anything there is a driver surplus.

The tires on your truck are only rated at 75 mph. Most don’t realize that and it’s a accident waiting to happen

Why are guys going OTR for less than 1k per week? You can get class a or b local jobs that pay more than that. I never understood that.

Let me get this straight.... you advertised all over including breaking forum rules by private messaging drivers and still couldn’t hire someone for 1500/wk... yet you think there is NOT a driver shortage? LOL wow!

    I offered 1200/wk guarantee FYI.

I do agree the megas are very comfortable for a lot of folks. Kinda like how brands advertise in NASCAR that way when the man or woman go to the store they pick the most familiar brand. Human nature.

Yeah if guys think it’s tough now, LOL, times are still great! When the #### really does hit the fan it’ll be a mad exodus.

First year is hard but if guys are struggling right now they are completely screwed.

Driver surplus? LOL. Ok bud. Go try and hire a driver.
