That land that the Texas Speedway is sitting on must be worth in the upper hundreds of millions. Think of all the houses, condos, warehouses, and Whataburgers they could build on it. Also, turning a two-mile racetrack into a 1/2-mile high-bank track is garbage.

I stopped following NASCAR when they pushed Bubba Wallace's car to the front for no other reason than because of his skin color.

Sounds about right. He couldn't win a race, and that piece of rope was documented in pictures before his race team was ever assigned that garage, but.... Racist!

Maybe they're letting him cheat to get an advantage for, you know, equity reasons. On a side note, watch Greased Lightning starring Richard Pryor about Wendell Scott the first black stock car racer. A driver who faced real discrimination without the backdrop of all the woke BS of today and just went out and raced. Pretty good movie.

I'm well aware of Wendell Scott, as I used to be an avid fan. His situation was completely different, but he was a man who didn't make excuses. He raced.

My biggest problem with today's society is the willingness/eagerness to be portrayed as a victim.
