That's what rest areas are best for. Usually much quieter...

 

I run reefer and do try to the best of my ability to be considerate of others when my reefer is running. That said, it is not always realistically possible.
Also, I've had a few times where I was running with my reefer off and another running reefer parks beside me. Or, I get an old loud longnose pull up next to me. I usually just chuckle at the irony.
