People figured out how to domesticate animals for a food source thousands of years before they figured out how to produce electricity.

People probably also figured out how to eat berries and plants before domesticating animals. But I don't see how that really matters.

Yes, probably why humans were described as hunters and gatherers. Then once they figured out how to domesticate animals for a regular supply of food they didn’t have to hunt as much.

In case you want to read about how cattle can be traced back to two domestication episodes dating back 10000 years or so. Cattle as we’ve known them since the mid-1400’s weren’t roaming the land as a wild family unit. They’ve been bred and raised as a food source.

It's not relevant to the discussion. The point I was making is about why be outspoken against vegans, but not Amish? One could draw the conclusion that the way they dress and live their lives is a way to shame others, that everybody who uses machinery and electricity is just lazy. If one can use God to justify why animals were put on the earth, why not use it as a way to justify the use of electricity?

I believe that most Amish live their lives for themselves, not as a way to shame people. I also feel like there are a lot of people who choose not to eat meat for themselves, not as a way to shame others. The people you see holding up signs in the milk aisle are not a representation of everybody who doesn't drink milk.

No feedlot is going to buy a calf and then put it to sleep. Depending upon their business model, the feedlot would simply refuse to accept the calf from whoever wanted to hire the feedlot to condition the calf, or refuse to purchase the calf from the seller.

I'am only only speaking for myself
I could careless of somebody chooses to be a vegan .. if they wanta knaw away on plants fuits & berries .. let em knock themselves out..
I belive in live & let live .. I don't force my thoughts on them .. but I don't much care for em when they try to condem me for eating red meat either
Personally I find it funny when they start telling how red meat is bad for the human body .. red meat is a natural source of protein that the body needs to function properly.. alot of vegans I've seen have to take 2 fists fulls of Vitamins and supplements to function.. more power to them .. I hope they keep eating plants .. cause most of the 1's I've meet are weak and no immune system.. one good head cold will put em.on their death bed ..
