The fake meat fad has finally been exposed as a complete waste of money

Now after all this talk about meat, I'm gonna get a nice steak out for tomorrow.

 

If I want a burger, I get a burger. Not some weird concoction of plants and hatred.

 

A veggie burger is not a real burger..

I got to ask this because I am an atheist. What does not believing in God have to do with a person not eating or eating meat? I personally love some nice hamburgers and steaks. Now I don't like the idea of killing the animals for nothing, they all need to be respected in my eyes. I also understand I could never make it on this earth without eating them either. A little respect for them goes a long ways in my eyes and that is all a person could ask for if you eat them.

 

If sugar is so bad, why do they make artificial sweeteners taste like sugar?

I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, but I can understand their arguments. Honestly there's some unnecessary cruelty in meat production. Would you be happy if you saw somebody torturing an animal for fun? Would you do something about it? Those opposed to meat are of the belief that all meat we get is fueled by at least some form of suffering.

We are technically animals ourselves and we got to this point in history thanks to eating meat, but we did a lot of things we would consider base and immoral before society came about. Would you suggest we go back to prehistory because that's just how it is? We are higher beings capable of self control and changing the way we do things for utility or pleasure.
