3-21-17 Toms River-Jersey City-Lacey Rebel pics 002 - Copy.jpg scan2458.jpg Rudy is still around. Just Rudy is on the truck though. But they are still heavily in Baltimore loading sucrose and other sugars.

Manfredi tank side is out, i talked to a van driver for manfredi 3 or 4 years ago. Said the kids took over and ran the tanks into the ground. My dad use to work for Manfredi out of the Allentown yard, next to US 22 and I78. Looking back at those manfredi pics, i sure liked their trucks. I dont know why, but when seeing their fleet all parked at Allentown, i was in awww.

From what I heard through the grapevine, back in the day, and reading MBT/Fleet Owner etc, Dana got the pick of the best ex-Matlack trailers, Matlack retained the rest of the best for their equipment leasing division, and whatever roadworthy leftovers went to auction or used dealers.
Every so often, I'd see a Dana trailer with Matlack label scars. Haven't seen an identifiable ex-Matlack trailer in years.

Do you know what tractors they run now? Just curious.

I forgot about Manfredi van division. Thanks for that.

Rudy has Macks like the posted pic, pinnacles/visions and internationals.
They have a fleet of 75 tanks and 40 some vans for delivering palletized sugar products.

Manfredi van division is still around.

    homeskillet Thanks this.

Superior Carriers High Point terminal was the old Central Transport national headquarters. Mac the current terminal manager was the Central Transport TM when they were bought out and merged. Most of our trailer have old Central transport markings on them. Most of the old guys preferred CTto SPCR now but a lot of that is changes to trucking in general the last 15 years.
