Not sure how one could actually tell if the truck racing thru the construction zone or truck stop has an Elog or not. A sticker on the side saying such does not make it so. That is not required for those using Elogs and anyone can put one on the truck to fool others. Folks that have an enlarged paranoia gland and suffer from irrational fears will blurt out the wildest stuff. As I have said all along, this whole thing is going to be fun to watch as we get closer to the mandate deadline. In this regard only, the ELD mandate is the gift that just keeps on giving.

Yea,I'm still a rookie at 33 years out here!....And yes, most of the ones flying through parking lots are JB,Werner,Swift and the other Megas......Rarely do I see us older guys doing it.
One ran over an employee at the Loves near me...Killed him and drove off. Troopers chased them down.
It was a driver with 3 months behind the wheel and I'm not mentioning the company but you see pictures of them daily on youtube.....You know who it is. Every one of those companies are E-logs...not ##### hard to figure it out driver!

How many times have you had one of those Idiots blow by you in a 55 construction zone just to be passed a few minutes later? I see it all the time......

I'm glad you think all this will be fun to watch come December....You sound as brain washed as these new breed Sheep!

Just get a kick out of watching folks get so tied in knots over this that instead of using logical arguments they feel the need to cut down other folks. And it will get worse as the time draws near.

That issue isn't elogs. Its the hos. And every thine a guy makes a statement wasting elogs will prevent me from making the runs i do now, he is admitting too violating hos and gives more ammo to the folks pushing elogs.

Part of that also is scheduling. The current HOS didn't just drop out of the sky yesterday.

This i whole heartedly agree with. But again, it's not any elog thing, it's an hos thing. Different argument.

My biggest problem is the 14 hour running clock should be able to stop it,The 30 minute break is a joke and the 10 hour break.I don't need 10 hours I came out to work not hang out in truck stops. My other issue is I don't need a babysitter telling when I'm tired and when I'm awake cause I've had plenty of hours left when I've been tired and vice versa. They need to go back to the 15/10/8 rule and paper logs and leave us alone cause It sure isn't promoting safety more wrecks out there now then ever.
