The first time you"did it", how long did you last?

1st solo run. Didnt have a clue what the hell I was doing but had still have this super aggressive hardliner mentality. Got a load from ID to Long Island NY. A couple hours left on my 11 hours, I look at gps see a truck stop that was about an hour an a half away giving me about 15-30 minute cushion. An accident put me out of time, qcom started going ape sheet because I was in violation. Pulled over on side of I-80 so I would not get an HOS violation, put triangles behind my truck and slept there. Cool thing though, when I was trying to sleep I got woke up three different times by people knocking on my door seeing if I was alright. Three different truckers pulled over to see if they could help. Really gave me a good first impression of truckers and helped qualm my fears about being all alone out there. It was a great first experience. Driving threw downtown NY city on my first solo run with nothing bad happening really gave me a huge confidence boost in my own abilities as well. Removed a lot of worries and self doubt I had about weather I could really do the job well without any help from anyone.
