Starting with Food Services of America on Tuesday. This is going to be a new experience since I have been in the oilfield the past few years but it will be good

Sounds all good. $21/hr to start with zero experience with schedule raises and cost of living raise each year. Top out at around $28/hr at 7 years. 100% paid medical, dental and life...... High deductible plan with employer contributions to HSA account. Free work boot, uniforms, two wheeler.... Brand new equipment. Local warehouse to me which is good and plans for expansion. Sounds pretty good to me, your day starts around midnight and %75 key drops. Wish me luck

"Cake" and "foodservice" are, ironically, two words that never go together. Oilfield must realllly suck.

Brutal day. 500 miles, 5 stops, 1150 piece all rolled in by hand truck. 13.5 hours on elogs. Used to be 500/600 piece on this route. I'm done wore out.

Mike2633, mpow66m and Dinomite Thank this.

wanna talk about brutal, my day delivering food involved a new stop (new as in first delivery for my company to store) in the bronx on my way back from LI. otr setup cascadia dragging a 48 and the elevated train that runs a top whiteplanes rd. My store just had to be under the el. Those that know the bronx know an otr setup has no business in that area at all. (close to pellham pkwy) No step by step directions either, just a map with X marks the spot on it. Box truck drivers sure had a good laugh today. got a few thumbs up as they drove by

All I have to say is I made it in some places that I never thought possible and slid my 5th wheel for the 1st time, all in all you gotta laugh about it. One of those days you remember for the rest of your life

    Mike2633 and mpow66m Thank this.

if you have a few min go on google maps and take a look around whiteplanes rd around the areas of brady ave and lydig ave, click street view and you will poop yourself. I promise it will make your night and you will never ever take your single screw daycab and a pup for granted again

    mpow66m Thanks this.
