One of the reasons I work where I work is because we use 28' trailers exclusively ha-ha! Now we do use twin screws but they are day cabs, I would have a really tough time adjusting to a sleeper cab truck because I've never really driven one.

Shopping Malls, Tuesday I had two stops at the same shopping mall and I had never done this stop before. It is a rule when you have a first time stop at a shopping mall be prepared to waste 30-40 minutes trying to figure out where to go and deliver to.

what part of LI? did you happen to see a white freightshaker with the name willow run foods on it? we have tons of runs out on the island. spent my 10 at ronkonkoma. All was well until I got off exit 5a on the cross bronx

Heres a pic. if you've been doing the island I know you have run into us. nothing like creating some havoc with a truck that does not have my name on the side of it. nothing like having 2 full blocks backed up and just pretending like 4 wheelers don't exist as im walking by with my handcart. If i wasn't so young I wouldn't be able to tolerate any of this but having a really effed up sense of humor can help alot.

maybe will run into each other on the LIE mpow,

btw who gets crapped on more in this industry otr or food service guys? http://s137.photobucket.com/user/wtbache/media/wtbachephotos/IMG_9668_zpse4a174b1.jpg.html

just consider yourself very very lucky that you are not close to 70 feet long. well at least we have air assisted tandem pins to get the off tracking down to a 40 footer or so. nothing like moving something the size of your house through the inner city. Still beats a stained shirt, sweatpants and flipflops while talking on your headset very loudly in public

    mpow66m and Mike2633 Thank this.

Today run is just cruising right along. Done way early and not even humping hard. Heck nothing even broke.

    Worries me
