That might be the case it would depend on the company and fleet size if there some one off place like DCI then there going to be picky. If there some big national or semi national company then they won't be as picky.

My company has had a hard time finding people. They hired two at the beginning of May. Both were on the large size. One lasted maybe a month and a half, the other is still hanging on but he's having a hard time getting up and down the ramp.
As for hours, I can't remember the last time I worked less than 50 hrs in a week. High has been 65, average is 55-60. Pretty much on pace to have my best year ever.

We have a strict one year policy but around here there isnt the high paying job opportunitys like in bigger citys..... as for beverage they pay bottom totem pole pay so they will take bottom totem pole guys I work for a Coors distributor for 4 years it's how I got my cdl it was a fun job for a single guy that likes to drink beer (free case of out-a-daters a week) but in the end I doubled my salary with food and haven't looked back

I don't care for drinking beer and the company I worked for wasn't really fun ha-ha, however I almost doubled my salary as well.

I heard a hilarious story today, years ago years ago a driver from one of our distant lots was at a hospital making a delivery and was finishing up his delivery to see he was blocked in by an ambulance. So he got into the ambulance and drove it across the parking lot out of his way ha-ha!

As a rule (exceptions always apply) the less picky they are, the more the job sucks and the less it pays. See TL vs LTL.

Not to hijack the thread but in Northern California beverage delivery doesn't pay anything. Maybe $15 an hour. Places like Saia and oak harbor and Estes pay the best

I dont think beer and beverage pays decent anywhere except for a few soda positions. Pepsi distributor here in socal pays 18 an hr, my company starts you off at over 24 an hr. The beer guys here pay less

Ok thats understandable. Beer and beverage pay maybe 40 to 45 where as food should pay around 60 minimum
