134 doesn't appear to be phasing out yet. Semis still use it. Dealers don't even 1234 in their system. And for some reason. Dodge went back to using 134.

It's the new thing. 10 years now. And cost me $70 per pound last year. It's $55 per pound this year. Was what the counter told me in the spring.

Yes, you're right about then having it if they want. But it's just a terrible thing. Of course it's a free market so if someone wants to pull a load set at $0.90 cpm imo it's a desperate move for them but their prerogative regardless of the load price.

    PPLC Thanks this.

You should have a label either on the ac dryer or the firewall probably by the ac plumbing to the evaporator. 3-4 pounds is what I've been seeing. Average. I'd think the daycabs would hold less. But my current holds 3.25. My last daycab was a sleeper taken off. It originally held 4 pounds. But I think i only got something like 2.25 pounds.

Dealers are switching the 1234yc back to 134 because compressors are failing left and right. Many do not last longer then 65,000 miles so far. 1234yc is going for $60 a 12 oz can. 134 is still $15. Because of the higher pressures they run, When the compressors fail all the refrigerant goes out into the atmosphere. Ooops.
