The fuel island is NOT meant to be a squeegee TRUCK WASH!

Discretion is the better part of valor... And if you are not injured to badly, can go get a device and return. Surprise is your friend...

When somebody said "next thing you know, somebody is gonna use it to clean the 5th wheel", I was going to post "Now, WHO would be stupid enough to do THAT?". Unfortunately, I had to run and use the john, and when I got back, sure enough, somebody WAS stupid enough to do that....

My first truck was a freightliner. I had bought 4 2'x3' cheap "rugs" (for lack of a better adjective) for the floor. I had taken both dogs with me and the older one didnt ride well. She got the runs 10 mins from where I was going. So after I unloaded (about 3 am) I headed into the near by Loves and squeegied them rugs off. I still giggle about it even now. I know, Im a bad man - BAD DRIVER /SMACK!

I’ve lost count of the times I’ve pulled in to fuel and every island is full, yet not a single truck has hoses hanging out of the tanks.

I’ve seen foreigners pull in, park in a fuel island then hop out with their suitcase to go shower. They don’t even bother to fuel sometimes.

The only thing stopping me from emptying my piss jug all over their door handle or god forbid they leave a cab door unlocked is the potential for being caught on camera going back to my truck where my carrier’s name and truck number is easily seen.

Is it that difficult if you're not getting fuel to at least pull up on the fuel island so someone behind you can get fuel?

Yeah in many states, between new drivers taking showers inside while parked at the pump, foreigners in the bathrooms inside but still parked at the pump but also at the truck stop bathroom sink washing their feet and bodies because they don't wanna take a shower (although free) and then company drivers sleeping in the fuel island or sitting down inside for nice long lunch milking local company time… us actual working drivers more than half the time are lucky to have - just have - a smooth fueling process without BS.. Like idiots squeegeeing the fifth wheel or washing their truck in the fuel island… I found that fueling during the night is a breeze, during the day it’s a joke.. Less is more.

in fact, foreigners should just get kicked out of this country. They should just go drive in the country they came from, probably solve half the industries dumb problems right there.
