Just wanted to start a specific thread on this, being i never found one here only injected post here and there on it, As it states i leave out from home today and will be heading towards Marshfield to take the plunge in the next week or so depending on if the planner can read or not about getting me to Marshfield.
I know and see and hear the Horror Stories out there on being a L/O but i also know how many current L/O's for Roehl over the last year I have spoken with in person face to face with most of them being more then helpful in not blowing smoke up my ###. I made friends with one that even went as far as showing me every check stub of his for the last 3 months, showing trend and the most important, the Bottom Line. Not a single one ever said "hell no i wanna go back to being a Company Driver"
I am not looking to be the next "Super Trucker" or getting rich from this.
Long as I can make a bit more then i am now as a company driver everything else money wise is gravy.
Its the other Benefit's and Perks you get from switching over that i have more interest in.
Be it as a "Glorified Company Driver" or whatever, I don't have a problem working with or working for Roehl.
But i plan to post on this thread the bare facts and truths of MY personal Experience as a L/O nothing more nothing less. In hopes it will give some better Insight to others looking at the Roehl L/O Program.

Hope all is well on your end. -
I look forward to seeing how things go! I myself hope to work into the same situation in time. I like to hear some success stories vs all the other stories bad mouthing the companys. I feel if you manage your business correctly then it will work for you. Good luck!!

1st was mid 90's-early 2000's a Medium Sized Web Development and Server management Company, We sold for a nice profit.
Then, 7yrs running our own Bail Bonds and Fugitive Recovery Business in N.E. Tennessee only reason I'm not doing that anymore is cause of the Depression, I mean Recession hit, Lots of ppl in Jail, no one with a job or money lol.
But yes I agree with you 110% on that -
My husband worked for Roehl as a driver and as an O/O.Roehl is the most honest trucking co.that you'll ever find. They actually paid for a rental car for my husband to go to Mi.to get the truck he bought.Only good things to say about them.
