When you see how little money I make you will think my place is a rescue mission.

Trade ya, a rescue mission would be a few steps up from my place.

I candidated for the Baptist Church in Farmer City while in CDL school. Anyway here are my year end settlements for 2011-2013. When looking at them keep in mind that I treat my maintenance escrow as taxable income and then deduct my actual maintenance costs from my income. In 2012 and 2013 that has been around $10,000. Additionally my per diem is about $14,000 a year and any motels and showers aren't reflected on this statement. It does show all the expenses that Roehl takes out before giving you the rest.

Will check it out
Is that leasing a truck through them or a third party? -
If I had third party leasing I would have moved years ago. Last year they took out $24000.00 in lease payments alone. My main point is that these numbers are on a truck payment of about $480.00 a week. Those looking at a company lease on a more expensive truck need to realize how hard it will be to make that payment. I am on the road an average of 280+ days a year, to support a larger truck payment you may have to look at being on the road an average of 300+ days a year for the next 5 years. My lease was 42 months and then 26 weeks on the note.

Let me point something out that I have found in researching my next move. Moving to Schneider only makes sense if you are moving to the Choice board, or a specialized division such as tanks. They have the advantage of a larger freight base, but Roehl pays better per mile. They pay less on deadhead, but much better loaded. In my case this is a factor because I am looking at adding trucks and at Schneider they would have to be on mileage pay.
