Sorry to hear that... That is how I got hurt, fighting with tandems on a curtainside trailer. It is a real pain, and the driver that dropped it should be wrote up for leaving it broke. Until drivers start getting in trouble for leaving damaged equipment, then it won't change. That is one of my biggest gripes about working at Roehl, it didn't used to be this way. Drivers got in trouble for leaving damaged equipment. A couple of years ago they figured it was cheaper to fix the damage than trying to hire more drivers.

Yes stinks to get stuck with it, I'm still siting here.....I understand the back problems been there myself 4 times all from moving set of tandems for doubles thru gravel by hand instead of using the truck....what happens when you try to save 15 minutes and don't do it the right way

Well at 2315 I was finally pulled in the shop, of course then it was shift change so at 0030 I'm told we can't fix this it's after midnite and we can't get parts!!!!! Was nice enough to help me slide the tandems where I needed them, but that won't help tomorrow!!!!! What a waste of a whole day sat here over 12hrs

I can usually count on at least half of the trailers having at least one flat. I picked up one empty that supposedly had been inspected within the last month, several hours and nearly $300.00 later the truck really could pass inspection. Part of the problem is with drivers passing on problems to other drivers, but the other problem is not doing things right to begin with. Roehl's policy of not replacing valve stems when they replace a tire is just plain asinine.
