I assume the $1101 included a service call? I'm probably looking at an egr cooler replace, not sure what that will cost. Just had a pm and front shocks to the tune of $527.

 

Yes they did, it only had 40k miles on it I ain't sweating it stuff happens I'm just glad nobody got hurt cause I was running 70 downhill with 44k in da box when it blew

 

WOW no kidding there!!! crazy it blew with only 40k on the rubber. but it happens,

 

Probably ran over something in the road... It is scary, I know that, I had one blow on me with a full tank of hot asphalt behind me. Same deal, running downhill getting it done. Hit a bump in the road and the sidewall split, tire had less than 25k on it. I think at that point in time the T/A got me for $750 for that one. Good luck guys, sounds like trucking has been expensive. As for stuff like shocks, can't you buy them yourself and change them, or do the monkeys at Roehl have to do it?

 

Sure they could but ya gotta know what your doing........i'll never understand why all these guys buy/lease trucks but don't know how to fix them

can some kind person please tell me would it be hard to get a company to sponsor me to work as a truck driver in your wonderfull country ive being self employed here in ireland for the past 5 years and the bottom has droppped out of trucking here if you dont own at least 20 trucks you aint got a chance of securing work and diesel costs are outragous could someone please let me know the ends and outs of working in canada and hi to everyone on here i hope to make lots of friends thanks murph121

If you know how and are still paying $500+ for someone to install shocks and other simple stuff then you have bigger issues then taking offence to a post.....

Tenfo, not every good successful businessman has to be a mechanic, if you know you aren't you just have to allow for a lil extra in ya budget. Ya know. That's not a terrible price for a pm and shocks.
