Opti stop does not work for my truck. I have 2-150 gal tanks. I have been totally on my own with fueling for the last year. I have been fueling with Pilot/Flying J 99% of time. Looking back on my last 3 settlements and doing the math, I have been getting between .22 to .37 on discounts. When I was with Risinger Bros we had the same discount that is now being offered of .08 from Pilot. Not sure if this is Roehl's doing or if Pilot/Flying J is changing their program.

Yea I thought it odd pilot was so dang low! heck for the most part thats where we get routed the most.. I tend to us TA/Petro more then any and in certain areas I will use loves cause they tend to be cheaper then all the rest.
I know the few times i checked it before i was getting under .40 cents usually more like .25 cents per gallon then what the pump listed.
Does pretty much force you to never use pilot/J anymore though LOL -

gotta check the state taxes on fuel all the differnce

As far as the loss of income, it is an estimate based on the difference between their new unilateral discount and the discounts we currently get. It is possible I can push my fuel economy up enough to make up the difference. -
Eric, what ended up being wrong with the truck, unless I missed it somewhere. just wanted to know

Blew a Turbo, wind up costing $3700.00+ now the clutch is acting funny lol -
Ah the joys of older trucks. My last truck (05) got not only a new turbo but a new starter and a new clutch all within the last 30 days before I traded it off for my new 2011. Clutch was around $2500. Wish you luck on the clutch.

A clutch isn't really that hard to change out, you just need a jack that is stable to handle the tranny. Other than that, it is no different than putting a clutch in your F 150. I did one in a Century class, had the old one out and the new one back in, in one day. I did use a reman flywheel. If you get your flywheel resurfaced it will take a bit longer. I had less than $800 in the whole job, plus my time.

Back to the issue of the new fuel bonus. They are pushing the TCH card at all the major fuel stops. I wonder if this new "bonus" plan is attched to the use of the TCH and not the Comdata cards.
