Just another day in paradise, Preacher Man. What we don't endure just to own a business. Hey at least Roehl is smart in requiring us to have the escrows. Imagine what would of happen if you didn't have the escrows.

preacher how long have you been a l/o for?
-
I'm just starting to think about going l/o. And one question I'm trying to get to the bottom of is, which is better, mileage or percentage? I know Roehl pays mileage. I assume the benefit to getting mileage pay is that your getting paid when your wheels are rolling. Although a lot of people seem to like getting a percentage.
Roehl lease/operators, do you like earning mileage pay? What are some pros/cons? -
If you do flatbed for roehl you can choose percentage pay
EthanVwal528 Thanks this. -
What do they pay for percentage, any idea on the fuel s/c and average mile pay out? I would believe it should be better than there pay scale. But does roehl pay you for DH miles on percentage?
-
I doubt they pay you deadhead on the percentage plan. Its 70% of adjusted gross if you use their trailer, if you own your own trailer then its 75%
EthanKash6972 Thanks this. -
that aint too bad, but do you know how much per mile it could average out at? Then FSC is added onto that too?
-
I'm not sure as every load will be different as far as per mile rate
It said adjusted gross so I believe it would be the rate plus fsc.

I was talking to them about lease flatbed the other day, they don't pay DH miles on percentage, and it is 70% plus fsc. They push for you to go on the sliding milage plan.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
You might make more on the mileage plan, as im not sure how good of a rate roehl hauls their flat freight at
