That's funny! I was at the Flying J when you were there. And, I delivered in Orlando, as well.

Hey Heyl drivers,I am working on getting my paperwork together so that the recruiter can process it.I drove for an ultrashift automatic fleet befor and have not been in a 10 speed in awhile so i am a little concerned about the driving test.So how is the driving test?

Sorry if this ends up here twice,i posted and it did not show up.My question is how is Heyls driving test? The company i drove for ran an all ultrashift automatic fleet so i am a little nervouse. The recruiter is working on processing my paper work so i hope all goes well.

What ever I was complaining about the planners having to adjust, they fixed I guess. The last 2 weeks I was bumping my 70 hours. I was going to take 4 days off last week, but figured they had me moving, so only took 48 hours off and back out there. After Leaving the house I picked up at Versacold, not Dannon, and took it to Morris, Il. They did exactly what I thought they would do, a short run to Iowa from there. Picked up at one of those FUN places, near Downtown Chicago one of those small streets, with cars on both sides of you, backing in to a small dock, and then still sticking out into the road! But Picked that up and went to Laredo with it, and like normal, sent me to Edinburg to pick up, and now going back up into Chicagoland.

Our last newsletter said it again, looking for drivers in CENTRAL Florida (not north) Dallas and Houston area, Iowa, Nebraska to Sioux Falls. In the Northwest from Portland to Seattle to Tacoma. Also Calgary and South Texas area.

When I spoke with them they wanted all the trucks parked in Zephyrhills on home time, they do maintenance, computer downloads and the like while they are parked there. I would imagine they wouldn't want drivers to drive 2 hours to work and then go out for an 11 hour drive too... they seemed very safety conscience.
After reading all these good posts I may have to call them back!!!

I live in central Florida and when I have spoken to one of the recruiters they didn't say that I had to drop off the rig at Zephyrhills. Hmm... 40mins out and back... Isn't bad but still what they hell..

After enjoying some home time they are back to keeping me busy. I picked up in Leesburg, FL and headed to Keasbey, NJ. The drive was uneventful. After unloading in Keasbey it was over to Flemington, NJ for a load of juice heading for Canada. When I went to put my loadlocks in the trailer I was shocked to see only 10 pallets in the trailer. The lack of freight in the trailer made me recheck the bills before putting on the seal. Sure enough, it only called for 10 pallets and 19k pounds.

Originally I was supposed to meet the Canada driver in Minneapolis but I was told to go to the Pilot in St. Cloud, MN. The lot here is tiny. I am glad I was able to find a space. I met the Canada driver and we switched trailers. Once my break is over I will be heading for Tyson in Waterloo, IA.

Echo, there is a terminal in Texas. It is in southern TX just north of McAllen in a town called Edinburg. I have not been to that terminal.
