I think the Heyl guys said 65mph, but they run around 62-63 so they hit the fuel bonus.

Heyl Trucks are governed at 65. Most drivers seem to be pretty happy with that.

0F or higher it was 10% of driving time during Oct - Feb I believe, if it was between 0 and -10 you could idle for 6 hours, -10 to -20 idle for 8 hours.

I delivered my load to Rochelle, IL on Wed night, had to reschedule my appointment from Tue because I didn't have enough time on my 70. After I sent my empty call I got my next load from Tyson in Hillsdale, IL to Tyson in Montgomery City, MO. I went and checked in just before midnight on Wed. 4.5 hours later trailer was ready, but I was out of hours and sleeping at that point. I picked up my trailer in the morning and dropped it in Montgomery City, I also got my next load from this place that has 2 stops in Florida. I will be at Zephyrhills yard tomorrow afternoon.

I have to say that you guys weren't lying when you said that Heyl keeps you busy. They have been keeping really busy since I started with them on the 16th. Every time I empty out I have my next load which is awesome. After Florida I should be heading back to Oregon soon. I have to be home on the 15th.

    Stay safe.

Finally Divorced! I have to say, once again. Everyone at Heyl was great and supportive in getting me all the home time I needed the last few months to get everything done. Last month I had to take at least 6 days off and they never questioned me, or told me I have been taking to much time off.Last month I never even left the central time zone, and got to I 35 very well from Iowa to Texas. Now I can just be out here and drive again, not worry about being home!
I got a load out of Waco that brought me up here to Paw Paw, Mi. Wasn't expecting 55 degree weather in March, but I will take it. I already have a pre plan taking me from Indy to Cherokee, Ia. From Cherokee there is always a good load taking you south or west from there!
Reading all the post from last week no matter how many times I or anyone says we hire in tx, fl, ia, etc still get questions if we hire in ny, ga, or pa. NO!!! I don't understand why someone would inquire about a company without knowing anything about it, most importantly where they hire, previous pages and the company web site tells you that!

Xitman, taking 84 to 80 is a lot longer than taking 90 all the way across to US 212 then back to 90. Also, usually most of the time they will take you off the load in Akron or Sioux Falls and put you on something different. Seems to me you added a few hours of driving time. Just some advise.

They have me moving since I left the house!!! I stayed in Walcott on Saturday night, as soon as I took off sunday morning I got a message telling me to hurry and drop the load and bobtail to Le Mars ASAP. Ok, I get to Cherokee at 2 and send my empty call, but I don't get my dispatch come back to me. I drop my trailer at Blue Bunny anyways. From noon to six no one is in the office, I could have called the emergency line, but they would have just told me to call back at 6. After night dispatch said computer stuff messed up he sent me my dispatch. I finally took off with my load going to Ft. Ogden, Fl and it was supposed to be there by tueday afternoon, right, 1500 miles in 42 hours isn't happening, especially since I had only had four hours left of my 14. Sent a message in the morning, but by the afternnon they still didn't know what they were going to do with it. Hopefully I will take it to Zephyrhills and let someone else deal with it. That wouldn't be a bad way to a short work week, 3500 miles in 6 days.
