Not sure about regional deal but the orientation is at the nearest yard they have from what I've read here. Florida would be Zephyrhills, if you're nearer to Ia, Wa, or so on, then that's where you would go.
    Hope it helps!!

    mgt1085 Thanks this.

Not lazy, just saying if I could have gotten something better by dropping it in the yard and let a local driver take it, it would be more efficiennt. But, they just rescheduled the delivery for the next day anyways.

Seeing you are from Houston, you would either go to Zephyrhills or Akron. I have taken some new hires from Texas to Zephyrhills for orientation.

I will be starting orientation on Monday in Edinburg. A driver is going to come through Houston then take me to Edinburg for orientation and my truck.

Seems to be quiet here, so I guess I'll give a little update.

As I said in my last post I ended up going to Florida. I was hoping to drop the trailer at the Zephyrhills terminal but it didn't work out and I ended up taking a 34 hour reset before my delivery on the 7th.#

From Florida I got a 3 stop load of juice going to Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska which I finished few days ago. A carton of juice leaked all over 5 boxes on one of the pallets, so I ended up with 40 cartons if apple juice, because they refused it. I was told to do what I want with it. I gave some away and kept some for myself.

Yesterday another driver brought me a loaded trailer that will take me home to Portland. It has 5 stops, but I will only be doing the 1st one. I have to be home on the 15th to catch a plane to Hawaii with my girlfriend :) # I didn't mention this before, but I had this trip planned before I started with Heyl, and they were very understanding when I told them about it.

It'll be 1 month since I started this coming Wednesday and my total driven miles will be around 10.5k. I'm not sure about dispatched miles. I wish they would send pay statements through email instead of regular mail, so I could look at them right away.

Around August last year payroll was asking everyone for their e mail adress to start at the beginning of the year, but nothing ever happened. Just talked with my DM about it last week and they said they are working on getting our statement via qualcomm. I would really like it also, would make everything easier!
