mgt1085, I see you made it there!! Good luck to you and be safe!!
Did they give you a decent truck to start with?? -
gave me an 07 columbia mid roof only empty truck and due to be traded in has an apu and no problems with it was told i wont be in it long so all is good and you how are things
jlind Thanks this. -
Not bad, just going along!! Keep it safe, will watch for your updates!!!
mgt1085 Thanks this. -
you probably won't be in that truck long at all. However, I would probably trade my 300k mi volvo for that truck you are driving. I'm tired of the electrical and other problems in this lemon.
If you pick up at Del Monte in NJ, keep in mind that is one of the worst places to pu and the other shippers aren't nearly as annoying.
Got my final # for the year, a little over $50k gross, and I was home for about 10 weeks total.mgt1085 Thanks this. -
Alright, that's not enough for my rare, long-winded post...
You got in at a good time. They finally have figured out the e-logs. The delivery times are getting a little tighter, but there is rarely a need to hurry up and drive out your 11. When I first got here, I had come from a loose leaf log company where the log book was just a silly inconvenience, so this was quite a change. I've only done 2 or 3 34 hr restarts here.
They also have drastically improved weekend and night dispatch over the last month or two. This was one of my big gripes.
My other big gripe is the preplanning of loads. Nothing has changed here. You still have to call to find out what you're doing next or you won't find out until you're empty.
Other than that, everything is good. You'll be treated better here than just about anywhere else. -
thx yeah this truck runs great no problems im not a fan of jersey or the north east for that matter i have kathy as a dispstcher and shes been really nice since i have this truck still on paper would like to see how the elogs work

i might add my dispatcher watches your hours like a hawk she asked me if i wanted to go right back out when i get home or go home still undecided but i like this place
jlind and The Challenger Thank this. -
l this company is pretty good. As shikinfred said you dont have to rush and can acheive the fuel bonus as well. you have plenty of time to do what you need to do,one thing that bugs me is this is the first place i have worked at where u cant view your paycheck info on line but i was told they are working on it all in all happy things have turned out okay
The Challenger Thanks this.
