I worked for Heyl back when they had the Quasar Express division in Sioux Falls. Must have changed a lot since then, the trailers say "partners across the border" for a reason. I was in canada 15 or 20 times in the 10 months I was there. That was June 93 to April 94.

BTW, having said that, I did like working for them, except the reefer part. I left a flatbed company to come to Quasar Express, and left them to go back to flatbed. If they had flatbeds, I'd likely still be with Heyl, or at least would have stayed a lot longer.

Looks like I'll be making Heyl my new home. took the roadtest, interview and Pquiz yesterday, just have to give my 2 weeeks with Conway and Should be good to go. Everyone at Zepherhills was laid back and very friendly. Need to be home more often so Heyl seems to fit my needs, plus I'll be trying for the Tropicana fleet once there's an opening. Looking forward to learning the reefer side of the biz, their trucks and trailers look well maintained, like to get a Volvo but we'll see. Will miss the team pay, but #### teaming is brutal on your sleepcyle. I've put on a few extra pounds from not being able to get any walking in due to the constant go,go,go routine. Needless to say looking forward to a change.
