I shut down last weekend and again this weekend. Not seeing ANY benefit from it.
Guess I will have to leave out come Sunday.
The high cost of fuel...time to unite on a shutdown and do something about it.

I can see Cody's thinking. I do make more off of fuel now,but it is at the cost of every Americian. The high fuel surcharge is passed on down the line to the consumer. So if your thinking is you like the fuel surcharge, you pretty much care about no one but yourself! His idea, with some strategic planning would work to help truckers gain back some control over the industry. As far as people getting hurt,it would happen, but that is how America became free.We fought for it,seems most people have forgot how to do that.

As long as drivers think like "shut down the country" and other slash and burn type of tactics, then nothing good will happen, things will get worse. Think the government is crawling up your rear end now? Try a nationwide strike thing.
Like was stated, in the past truck strikes did more harm than good. Ask the drivers who used to drive for Churchill in the early 90's and see if they think going on strike was such a good idea.gokiddogo Thanks this. -
