As the value of the dollar dropped 94% the rates went up 2%.......not really a gain.

I hardly eat that garbage with humans serving it. Burgers and McDonalds don't belong in the same sentence. Give me a Hardee's burger on sour dough with melted Swiss and bacon.

    akfisher and rabbiporkchop Thank this.

60% of todays rich people did not get rich by working.
They inherited the money or inherited successful businesses.
Many of the successful business owners knew little about
their businesses........but when they screwed up Daddy bailed
them out. My Dad never bailed me out.....

I have worked for a number of poor people over the years.
I have worked for companies where the owner had less money
than the workers did. My first OTR job was for a man that
took over the company when his father died. He was absolutely
broke. His personal pickup was a rusted out heap......his house
was an old single story house. When he needed a new roof the
folks from his church pitched in and put the new roof on for him.

He once told me that he should have quit the business years
ago......but it was the only life he knew......and he said he guessed
he was to stubborn or ignorant to do anything else.

Here in our area most of the small companies are owned
and operated by poor people. I have no wealth envy
mentality.......but I don't have any patience with company
owners who are happy to let the workers do all the dirty
work while they refuse to pay a fair wage. One reason my
first OTR job boss was so poor was his workers came first.
He paid a fair wage......took good care of the trucks etc......
He could have taken advantage of us but he
had to much respect for the working man for that.

I worked in the farming industry for several years. My
experience was there are some regulations........none were
absurd. Some farmers take great care of the land; some
don't. The ones who don't are the reason for regulations.

Farmers get more free and low interest money from the
Government than probably any other industry. The CRP
program is a prime example. The Government actually pays
    farmers to not farm.
