They make fun of me down at our yard now, because I'm in the GFS Gold Club. One of the other drivers said to me ha-ha. "I can't believe your here in the drivers room with all the layman using the same computer we use, would have thought they would have given you your own computer."
Ha-ha! Heck Thursday I was filling up the washer fluid tank in another drivers truck because he asked me too.

Yeah no kidding and I give Ken Munkhouse all the credit in the world, Jamie said Brandon I'm going to have you work with Ken and he will show you the in's and outs and will work your way up from there. Personally Ken seems like a great trainer, nice guy, knowledgeable patient, he's not going to jump down your throat, Ken has tons of experience towing 4 wheelers perfect guy you would want teaching you how to drive and train, because for a while Munkhouse was pretty much a one man show there on the car towing end of it. He was literally towing that whole line for the company. If I had a tow truck outfit I would hire Ken Munkhouse that's for sure.Ruthless Thanks this.

In season 1 they had a 1997 F-Superduty "1 ton" wheel lift tow truck? Where did it go did they sell it?
What's the life span on tow trucks, because it seems that Jamie and all the companies even the ones here in Cleveland they buy new units and used units and cycle some of them in and out rather quickly. I heard it has something to do with and this is on the 1 tons that, after a while the back end gets like too, broken in and that's not good and they usually opt to get rid of them at that point.
It looks like Jamie buys a lot of used stuff and it's there one season and gone the next. That's not exclusive to him the tow truck companies here in Cleveland are the same way they will buy one truck brand new and then buy like 2-3 used units hang on to those for 24-36 months and then get rid of them.
I know towers go through trucks kind of fast and those trucks have a fairly high mortality rate. I know here in Cleveland it's getting to the point where the mid 1990's Ford Tow Trucks are starting to become a pretty rare sight and even the 2000's and early 2000s stuff is a little rare to see anymore. -
I'm into season 4 now.
I swear some of these truckers need their ##### beat for speeding through recovery operations.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
Thanks to this thread, I watched ep.1, season 1, on Netflix last night. Good content.
Mike2633 Thanks this. -
They sure do go speeding through don't they? I mean the guys are an inch from the road and here comes a 200,000lbs "Super B" or B-Train as I call them flying through at 100Km which is about 60 miles per-hour.
