The job being taken by AI as graduate only gets Chipotle interview

I wish they'd quit lying to young people, most degrees now days won't even qualify you to take a dump at McDonalds. She needs to get into hyperbaric welding..that should be fairly secure but who knows..I'd bet money it is.. Put simply, most capital no longer needs human labor..

Last time Ichecked it took four years to graduate, so I'm sure she was told a few stories. The college could have provided better market research during that time. Regardless, degrees should be more versatile after investing that much time.

 

Nobody lied about anything. When she went into school it was a viable option to a good paying job. AI changed that "overnight" about 2 or 3 years ago now it's not. That's a fast change in the job landscape and hard to predict. We have the benefit of hindsight. Nobody knew AI would do this 5 years ago.

 

Well Atleast it wasn’t philosophy.

 

Should have been an accountant.

My wife literally landed a job while still in school to be an accountant a few years ago.

She just became a CPA a few weeks ago and it’s getting to be a desperate market for employers.

 

i couldnt sit in a office / cubicle all day and count beans .

 

AI is my 24 hour nanny. Lytx is her name.

 

I’m sure you can with 6 digit salary, crap ton of PTO, HSA account + Medical, traveling, and other benefits as well. She’s only busy 5 months out of the year and she’s 60/40, 40 being working at home.

she doesn’t count beans though, she’s an auditor. So she gets to work on site with clients most of the time.

 

8 figures i aint sittin in an office . I made it thru highschool and it was torture on a pretty day , hell any day.

 

Ain’t lying for the right amount of money any thing is possible.
