Hey Mellon I think my student and I saw u last week in New England. Glad to hear u got out and rolling.I've been training for a while and I have re-trained students who were with trainers that were sub par to say the least. All I can say to the students out there is be honest with your evaluation and its confidential, not for ur trainers eyes. If he's a jerk about it, when u get stopped for the night call BRF and leave a msg for Mike or Ellan and explain the situation. There is no reason for it to be a bad experience if u have a willingness to learn and a good attitude. Don't let a sub standard trainer ruin ur experience...Millis will remove sub-standard trainers ffrom the program, but not if they don't get enough feedback.

Well I got a short run that put me over 3k for the week. But last night got pulled over... Was going through a construction zone and there is a sign that says trucks use left lane. So i got in the left lane... Went through the construction site... Saw the "end construction zone" sign about 50 yards ahead.... There was a cop on the left side of the road on the white line so i thought I would get over since I'm not in the actual constriction anymore and there's a cop on the left side. If i don't he will pull me over for not getting over for emergency vehicle. Well he was literally at the end construction zone sign literally... So i got over into the right lane he pulled me over and said I shoulda waited till after the sign to get back over and gave me a warning since he saw that I was in the left lane to begin with... What a bunch of bull. But then I get down to unilever in.cincinnati and boy that is the most screwed up place I've been to so far. Had to do a double drop and hook.... It was tight. But anyways I'm bout to head off again. Hope everyone is running hard (which I've noticed rarely happens) Lol millis drivers always try to tell me where to stop... I don't get it I say i have 6 hours of drive time left and they want me to stop 45 miles up the road... Srry but I run as much as i can everyday. Period Lol but i can do that cuz its my log book and I'm in my truck :)) I'm out here to make money not play around! I did sleep in an hour today though ;)

I would have done the same thing and moved over. Did the cop have his lights on? If he did, then you had a very strong argument that you did the correct thing for moving over, had he given you a ticket instead of a warning.

You can't agree with what? And Yeh 2 weeks on my own and 5 with someone else. U saying I can't say what I've seen?? I stated what I've seen so far, it wasn't a debate topic.

Your right mellonhs, it's your logs, it's your truck to run as you wish. It's also your DAC report and your license, it only takes one incident to make that all change.

I think they're just trying to be helpful to give you options since you've only been out here a couple of weeks on your own, not tell you where to stop. C'mon now let's be nice. I would say probably 75% of the time guys are with trainers they don't pay attention to where there really are or how they got there.

Also, there is no Unilever in Cincinnati, it's St. Bernard Soap. Just sayin'

Nothing really, I think a driver was feeling a little frustration from his day and maybe stepped on his own toes on the thread. It's all good! I know I'm over it anyway! lol

    Be careful L.B. :biggrin_25514:
