The misadventures of a rookie tanker yanker

Way out of my lane, but hopefully an O/O will chime in. Most of the guys I meat seam happy though. It all depends on what you luck into and want to do.

 

Back out in the system. Ran from Wilmington to the 114 outside of Atlanta. It's 62 miles from tomorrow's delivery. Was a good day rolling up some money belt.

I tank wash to our Morrow terminal after delivery in the morning. That's normally where I'd sit until I load the following morning. Thank goodness for dispatch delay if that's the case. Hope I'm lucky and they have a preload I can slide under and run with. It'd be nice to use some drive time getting away from the ATL before evening rush.

Will let you how it goes.

 

The next load is an out and back to, Olive Branch, MS. Currently, I'm sitting in Morrow waiting for a local guy to get done loading it. Hopefully I can get a few miles down the road before rush hour.

 

And that's how I mounted the Qualcomm in my bulldog. It's opened up for the photo only. Of course, I drive with it closed.

Anyway, got my load in time to beat feet out of Atlanta before rush. Currently I'm kicked back at the Loves on 78 at the 81 in MS.

The gals in Atlanta are sending me to Texas after I tank wash back to them. It was cool, got a call earlier and choice of Louisiana or Texas. It's always good to know what you're doing for the next 4 or 5 days.

Now that I can put a photo up once in a while, I'll do so.

 

Not sure if it's new fangled, but it's the same one, or type, I've had since starting here.

Hard to believe it'll be a year on the 23rd since I first got the green light with Superior.

 

Drink more Ovaltine. It's between that and posting nude photos of myself until I get banned.....a difficult decision indeed.

On a more serious note, I'll probably get a new lead projection system or a bit of silver. Depends on what spot is doing at the time.

We've already got our vaction booked for Myrtle Beach, and we do that nearly every year, so it wouldn't be right to count that.

Something to ponder while daydreaming the miles away.....lol
