show me someone on here that has not done something wrong IE: speeding, ( even one mile over ) log book issues, truck/ trailer issues
( as little as a marker light ) over loaded ( 50 lbs or less ) you name it.
then I say he/she must be or think he/she is GOD. I call bull. no one on earth is
with out fault we all do wrong from time to time. thats the facts like it or not. :biggrin_25510:

There are some cops out there that will pull you over just because they can.
they tell you you were speeding. give you a warning ticket. can you prove you were
not NO. your speedo could be off. then they inspect you and fine you for every thing
and injoy doing it. I know a few cops that love to stick it to truckers. one of them is in my family I can`t stand the #####

well then, even God was in violation when he created the heavens and earth, working all those hours and rested only on the 7th day...think he went over a bit there..?? think he went beyond the 100 radius air miles..??? and since he probably moved some rocks and boulders, did he have an over weight permit..??? then maybe you ought to report him.. #### that God guy for trying to get away with "fudging" his duty status that week.....

i'd like to see that guy God get an H.O.S. violation ticket......maybe even an over weight violation as well...you suppose if he slides his tandems, they will cut him some slack..??? i hope not....he deserves a ticket... that ###### God guy.

Tazz, The first thing I did not start my story with "Well it was just a little bit wrong" I accepted responsibility for my actions. The second thing is my wife was not DEATHLY ILL, she had gotten sick and had thrown up. Yes the trooper not only could see that she was sick he could smell it. He told me even though he understands she was sick he would not be doing his job if he didn't write the citations. I accepted that. I only stated that I thought he could have written me just one citation instead of two. One other thing is the trooper did not place either one of us out of service. I was technically already out of service because my 14 hours was up. He only told me that I could not drive again until my 10 hour break was completed. He then allowed my wife to drive away and drive to the next rest area. In that respect he was being nice. Even though she was still sick she did make it to the next rest area. If I could go back in time we would have done things differently but whats done is done and we have to live with it.

Quickway, I do appreciate your support and I do agree with you! I don't let people like Taz bother me. People like him are the ones that get on the CB and starts a argument with someone because they think it's funny. He's probably the guy in the truck stops that tell everyone he doesn't have any Panties on. These type of people have to be the center of attention and they think the only way to get it is to piss someone off. You can always spot them because they make up words like "Deathly Ill" to make it sound worse than it really is. In his mind he is a perfect driver that never does any thing wrong and the people that happen to be unlucky enough to get caught are the cause of his problems. You watch he'll come back with a bunch of B/S trying to keep the B/S going. I refuses to be pulled into it!

    quickway Thanks this.

No you didn't. You started your story with excuses.

Your dispatcher told you it had to get there. Hardly necessary to tell a team that unless they have a propensity for not running full time. That statement alone hints you make a habit of driving off book.

Your wife got sick. Yes that is an excuse as to why you violated the law.

See I believe there are far to many like you "doing what has to be done" to get the load delivered. It's kinda like those that do backhauls for fuel money. I consider it detrimental to this industry.

Run compliant period. If you can not I celebrate the fact that your decisions now have consequences. I do not care about your problem specifically, but I do hope this victim mentallity will go away as non-compliant drivers are removed from this industry.

Kinda like Rerun said. You state you accept resonsibility and in the next breath blame everyone else why your decision had negative consequences.

You recieved tickets for your violations( and in my opinion got away with a couple) you lost your job because of your decisions. Noone else made that decision, and as such including them to cloud your failure is juvenile.

As is your comments about underwear and the like.

Change your ways or be forced out. You make the decisions that will keep you in this industry or ban you from it.

with that comment. like I said no one is 100% perfect 100% of the time. thoes of you that say you are have just not been nailed yet. but you luck will
run out. then lets see what is said.

Well actually you will not have 61 points for 3 years. 21 x 3 is 63 points

It will decrease in points as time goes by provided you don't get anymore violations of course.
