The New FFE Driver Academey

ok 6 weeks on the road, i have seen alot of crazy S@#$! and i know that I will probably see alot more over time. But so far this is the craziest: I'm sitting @ the Loves in San Anton. in the 2nd row facing away from the fuel island.

Some supertrucker idles by in 5th or 6th gear (atleast 15mph) interior cab light on(it was dark) cell phone in left ear. He gets up completely out of his seat and walks into the sleeper to grab something. I assume he got what he was looking for and returned to control his vehicle as he was able to make a quick left then right to get onto the frontage road. never saw a brake light once.

WTF? Is this the "new" normal?

 

Man that sounds really messed up there virus. Really makes you wonder what other drivers are thinking. I would have to say this one wasn't thinking at all.
On another note though I have officially passed the academy and have my diploma in hand. Taking sometime to relax before we head off for our 3 day orientation. It's been a very busy 2 weeks but has been fun as well. Isaw playmakers truck in the backing range but didn't get to meet you though. Maybe I'll catch you later play. Well keep in touch guys and stay safe.

 

lets hope if they would only get rid of some of the over paid office ppl in lancaster and dallas the company would b n real good shape

 

That's the problem this guy probably thought "I'm in control ,I know whats going on." When people start to lose respect to be careful that's when !@#$ happens.

 

Hey lionheart, I will be rolling through Clermont around 4am.

 

Those of you that have been driving FFE for a while, Would you start with FFE again or would you go somewhere else?
I have my app in and will start by the end of the month but want to hear from some of you guys.

 

I'm 5 months in my own truck here, and I would do it again. its not perfect but you will learn how to work around the BS.
