hay man i don't know if the way they run you has any kind of bearing on where you are from. i spend most of my time in the south(i from alabama, but chicago original) but have been sent up to jersey and right now i am in nebbraska.

 

figure running from so cal to fla up to upstate ny across to seattle.

 

Not really..Tried the 800 number several time with the extension of my recruiter..that didnt work so I referenced an email I had received and used that number..it was a direct line in..got thru after several tries every 15 minutes. She even called me back once or twice..keep trying you'll get thru. They receive a ton of phone calls everyday. They are not ignoring you. Once they talk with you and determine you are someone that qualifies they'll run all the DMV and NCIC checks. Give 'em a couple of days to complete that, then call back. Once you get thru, its more questions and an invite..Just be persistent..

 

Also keep in mind the holidays. I know there are no news classes scheduled for this monday and also none for next. It is prob done until after the first of the year. And try to communicate with them thru email, I had good luck that way.

 

holly cow, those type's of runs are usually team at most company's and they relay the west coast loads with east coast drivers, that way better home time for all drivers but i guess there system is not set up for that, and i bet any owner-operators with there (OWN) truck would love those runs, i guess it's to hard to say how many owner-op's that are working there, (NOT LEASE) thanks

 

well the long runs are teams for the most part. but solos get them all the time. I'm on a 1400 mile run now, 1400 was the last and 1500 before that.

Orlando to dallas, dallas to LA, LA to dallas, now dallas back to LA. then......yep LA to dallas, then back home to FL.

 

wow, i would LOVE those runs, that grass sure would be high in my yard if gone for 4 weeks doing the summer, any trouble with getting those lumbers to unload at 2 or 3am, did reefer with transam back in 98, all meat loads, thats when they where company trucks no lease, times have changed, thanks

I talked to Anthony first, just haven't heard back is all. I will wait until after Christmas to try again I guess. I sent an email with a list of questions for him so hopefully he will get back to me soon. At least so I know if this program is right form me. How long did the entire process take for you from application to acceptance?
