Illinoise does not allow you to transfer your cdl from another state. You will need to get your license in IL or move to a different state.

You pay something like 14 or 15 dollars for the section you'll need to study for the CDL permit. It is good for 30 days. I am studying that. It is SO MUCH better than the paper manual. I also bought the pre-trip inspection list which has real pictures to look at. Helped me a lot.They also have a section on the air brakes.two tone Thanks this. -

Its a valid question. I think you need to have your license for 3 years before the school will accept you.

Well spoke to a recruiter today Tim?? Anyways he told me they do accept Illinois students and once you receive the Texas cdl you will most likely have to do the full Illinois test to receive your Illinois cdl. I should be attending the academy in 2 Monday's.
