I'm running good, brand new truck, I'm under a shiny new trailer. Im running a 2000+ mile load. My dm is cool, they dont push me in bad weather or when I get tired.
Sure I get pissed sometimes when I get a load with too much time or I get stuck waiting in the meat pach. Im happy and staying here, 8 months now and its getting better every day.
I think this guys problems follows him to every company. It must suck to have so many people out to get you.

Well I haven't been on here in a while, its because I've been busy at the academy! Boo ya!
Lol, its been a busy, stressful, and fun two weeks almost. I met SCboy and Zippor25 here and they are two great guys, my class (at least the ones left) have gotten really tight and sorted each other through the struggles similar to a really dysfunctional family. We started as a class of 37 CDL and non-CDL holders, and look to graduate with 22 on Mon.
They are serious here about producing professional drivers and WILL flush you out if you can't hack the truck skills or the attitude skills. Todays trucker can not be a dirty, rude, racist,
uneducated Road Thug and expect to last long. I saw a couple CDL-holding students get sent home, either because they couldn't get the finer skills of driving or because they didn't have an attitude that was conducive to learning and getting along with all sorts of people.
No trucking company is perfect, this driving academy is tough, they expect you to get within 80% of perfection...but I personally liked the high standards here, the honest instructors, and the fact that they are looking to produce better, safer drivers than everyone else. I failed my first road test, but my evaluator told me what I did wrong and I was able to work on it-and
then passed it on my second go.
I have enjoyed my two weeks here, its rough, but if you want it, they will give you the tools t
to get it. All the people here are great, and I'm still having a blast even though I am beat at the end of the day.
PLAYMAKER- special thanks to you letting me, SCboy, and Zippor25 climb around your Cascadia and play with all the buttonsTHE PLAYMAKER and spat Thank this. -
Just wanted to thank all of the past trainees from the academy for all of your insight, I am waiting for Tim from recruiting to Finnish processing my paperwork and hope to be attending a class ASAP. I can't wait to get to Ftw and get the ball rolling. One question, I know that ffe has a pet policy, but do any of you have any Exp. With this. I'm considering taking my dog once I go solo, but I'm not sure. Any insight on this would be great. Thanks Playmaker for starting such a great thread!
THE PLAYMAKER Thanks this. -
congrats drift! I just finished up my otr training and am due to upgrade to solo on monday. I am hoping to go ltl or regional.
-
From what I read on their website and what I've heard in this thread I think the answer is they do allow pets. One of the regulars here should be able to provide you with a better answer tho. -
Congratulations Cam wish I didn't mess up my road test, but it's whatever. Good luck out there ( don't be late on your deliveries )

So how is the upgrade driving test? I have to take mine tomorrow and am just curious.
