it is a great gps. my father has it and he loves it. me personally i use my smart hone and google navigation. and of course i check the routing to make sure it ain't sending me to a bad spot but it has always worked for me. i understand the frustration with navigo. i gave up on it also because it is worthless and has sent me to way to many spots i should have never gone but no more. but if you go the way of the tablet use a android based one. cheaper, more free #### or just plain cheaper then the itunes store and you don't want to be one of those apple loving tools do you(i apologize if you have an iphone).

 

Do they give you load Options?? or do u go where they send you?

 

you are forced dispatched if you are a company driver but lease opps can refuse a load.

 

what makes it time consuming for me, is the navigo does not let you scroll thru the map to see whats ahead for mor then a brief few seconds, then it goes back to the starting point, so checking against the atlas is incredibly frustrating. plus pulling over to verify your route isn't always possible, you have to find a place to park safely. i would never consider flipping through the map while under way.

 

while going through the trainer classes today me andd spat were told of an update to the peoplenet system with one part of it being a big navigo update. if all we were told is true it will be getting bigger fonts for easyer reading, louder volume, and a derections listing so you can check it against your map book. if this is all true i will go back to using my navigo again. and this came from the woman in the peoplenet help dest and that the base of the update is already done they just need to do something physically to the peoplenets here in the yard. i will try and talk to her tommarow and see when/if they have a hard date for it. i am hopeing they can do whatever they need to do to it while i am here because she said the software download side was done a couple of days ago. will let you know and keep yall posted
