The New FFE Driver Academey

What is Texas trying to accomplish with this? Why are they not going to give out cdls to out of state residents?

 

The law was intended to curb fraud, what we are dealing with is just the side effects. It will be cleared up soon, ffe has way too much invested to give up. Hang in there.

 

Yes, the person i spoke with told me 2 weeks max, and to call back. I set the reminder in my phone. Im definitely psyched about getting started if i can....

 

I was told that we wouldbknow by Monday.

 

Just got off the phone with Brent;
He said they got a letter from the DPS yesterday, basically going along the lines of the DPS will be reversing the law or making an exception for a situation like FFE.

Anyone else heard anything similar to this?

 

I called on friday and was told to check back next friday to see if they were accepting out of state students.I will watch this thread and call sooner if someone hears they are. Thanks for all the valuable info here.

 

FFE has been posting out of state ads for the Driver Academy the last few days again so I think its about to open up again.

 

Was told today, they are expecting clearance any time now....
