yeah, it does suck, but I still enjoyed my 2 days there, I learned more than I thought would be possible in 48 hours and I came away KNOWING this is what I want to do and I'm not going to let a little setback stop me. I still think they have an excellent program and I wish everyone going through it the best. If you get Dottie as a driver trainer, tell her Dallas said hey and I'm keeping my chin up.

thats too bad to hear fillmore was looking forward to meeting you on the 4th --- we are still good to go -- my girl had a expired liscence plate ticket 4 yrs ago -- wasnt a big deal and she got her plates renewed the next day but she has to go to the dmv to get documentation that it was for plates and not liscence and that it wasnt over 90 days and i have to go to my high school and get transcripts or copy of my diploma --- just cant find it lol --- hope you can get back on board soon -- we have been studying all weekend and i am up around 100% -- missed one out of the whole batch -- but we have the ohio practice test and the texas and the one question dealing withdownhill braking 1 test said slow steady pressure was right the other said light pressure and releasing ( thats the way i was told back in the day ) the test are almost identical- she is up over 90% which i think is good considering she hasnt ever been inside a truck before -- she still has a week to go so i think shes on top of it -- we didnt want to get down there cramming lol -- get that stuff out of the way -- both looking forward to it -- are you headed down on the 11th cabwrecker I dont think there is anybody still here thats going on the 4th ---- really looking forward to the 8th of august -- should be when we are on our own---

    #### guys...I feel pretty alone on this bus all the sudden.
Acctualy their is three guys heading towards Dallas for c&r England.
Apparently, they didn't have to put money up for training, same situation as FFE. Still with everything you hear about C&R- even if 10% its true I'd have to give thought to working for them.

no money upfront for cre training. they just take it out of your check every week IF you get hired on. went to youtube to see the cre hotel they put them up in during training. that video in a nutshell, tells you exactly what cre thinks of their driver candidates.

well cabover i did talk with c&r --was far from impressed and i think we made the right choice hopefully your still there when i get there on 6/4 there is a lot more bad said about c& r than ffe -- plus this much hasnt changed since i last drove there are 2 kinds of drivers the runners and the whiners and the whiners are allways the loudest the runners are to busy making money so you hear a lot more whining --- the whiners are never happy anywhere and the runners can make it just about anywhere-- i choose to be a runner and i am commited to ffe for at least a year---hopefully it works out for longer-- i like starting something with a positive attitude not looking at this as a starter company and thats why i did as much reaserch a possible and we are middleage and things roll off you easier what might make a 25yr old get mad and quit we might not even notice -- just get through the school and training and develop a good relationship with your dm -- for most people if you cover there backs there going to take care of you -- some call it the good ole boy system but it works -- just remember for every driver that you see at a terminal or truckstop whineing there will be 2 or 3 others out on the road running and getting there job done ---- wow what am i doing trying to drive --- i should be in recruiting lol

Fun times. Got my load from Boaz to Allentown, it's 843 miles and they gave me 5 days to get it there. I have been sitting in Wytheville for 48 hours now. Finally get to roll tonight for my delivery tomorrow. I love FFE!!

I may have missed this, but out of state cdl permits (Mi) are good in Texas? So i would skip the classwork for permit, i called C1 in Indiana they said had to take Indiana's test for the permit.
