Have not been on here for a while, but thought I would update. Drove OTR for 4 mos, then moved to LTL. I have had a great time doing both. I run out of Lancaster, but I thought I would let a few of you back east know that you can get on in Burlington NJ pretty quickly. There is a lot of LTL up there. Just wanted to say that after almost 8 months, I am SO glad I made this career change. I would not go back for anything. I wish all of you the best, you are making a great decision.

How much are you making each month geezer?
-
I looked over my pay stubs, and I have averaged 3700.00 per month. You can have some very big differences in checks though. I have had a check where I took home 125.00, then the next week I took home 1290.00. If you dont finish a long run at the right time, it will carry over to the next week. Just be sure to stay on top of your paper work and turn it in on time. Your on road trainer will show you all of this. Time management is everything. Take the time to plan your trip before you leave. Also, remember you have alot to learn, and as you experience, your understanding and talent will grow. Just remember, if your not rolling, your not earning.
Everett Thanks this. -
Can't wait to see yall that are heading here for Monday. It is fast pace and u have to come with an open mind and attitude. But all the instructors are great and everyone gets along. They make sure u learn the right way the first time
I AM glad to be on the FFE team. Learning from the best.
Everett Thanks this.
